Local Business Accelerators is a national campaign devised by the Newspaper Society to give a shot in the arm to small business and help invigorate local communities. Campaign backers include the Prime Minister, Dragons' Den entrepreneur Deborah Meaden, CBI director general John Cridland, and Business Secretary Vince Cable.
The Prime Minister has congratulated the regional winners of the Local Business Accelerators competition to find Britain's promising young companies with the most growth potential.
Compliance365 was selected from 33 entries from companies across the region.
Paul Ayre, managing partner of Leeds and Bradford-based law firm Gordons, will mentor the company. He said, "I'm really looking forward to mentoring Compliance365. [They] symbolise the value of the Local Business Accelerators scheme, in encouraging exactly the type of small but growing enterprise that will be instrumental in leading economic recovery."
